Cute, updated old hotel. Very comfortable beds, a shower that takes up half the bathroom, and a wall full of amenities complete a quirky little space. Perfect for this couple. As a residence inn, the wall across from the bed housed a good sized refrigerator, sink, hotplate, dishwasher, microwave, and stocked cupboards. There is a market 2 blocks away and plenty of eateries in the neighborhood. The brick wall outside our window shielded us from street noise 15 stories below. No food service in the hotel because of Covid. The TV across from the bed easily connected to our internet accounts for viewing. The metro is easily accessible within a couple of blocks. The programmable air conditioning provided a welcoming cool room and a good night's sleep after an exhausting day in New York.

Staff extremely friendly and down to earth. Having breakfast included was great as eating out in NYC is expensive. Room was big for NYC standards with kitchen area and huge comfy bed. Location was brilliant, a 15 minute walk from the Rockefeller tower and felt very safe in this area! Super clean and a really great hotel. We paid 60 dollars for a late checkout, which was worth the money we stayed till 4pm as our flight was later that night. Great option to have and really happy we stayed here for 5 nights over Christmas.

For us, location, location, location! Breakfast. Hot breakfast. Not continental. Staff. The Receptionist who greeted & welcomed us was spot on. We arrived early morning from a red flight and a room just finished cleaning and opened up. That was a really nice welcome for us. We were in Manhattan for 1 night before flying back home the following day. This was on the weekend. We were in midtown for a concert. So location was a big factor in choosing a hotel.

The location of the hotel is great, central to most tourist attractions; easy access to taxis. We walked to most places including Central Park, The FRIENDS building on Perry St. Taxi cost roughly $9 for a 2-mile trip from West Village, even less to Central Park. The room comes with everything you need and was very tidy and well-cleaned. The staff were great and allowed a later check-out, they were very polite and willing to help with any queries.

Came for mix of work and leisure - chose the hotel as I had reward points to use and needed to add extra nights. Very helpful, accommodating staff, comfortable size room with two beds/enough space while traveling with my sibling. Useful small kitchen. Great breakfast spread and good location walking distance to 5th Av, Broadway, etc so also perfect for tourists.
